1. Who are you and what do you do?

I’m John  Ait- Bihi Affiliate Marketing Exec at NETELLER. My role consists of creating stimulation campaigns to drive revenue via affiliates and reactivation of our dormant partners affiliate program management & marketing support to drive strategic revenue initiatives forward. I also take care of the programs database management and generally deliver everything relating to marketing and communicating with our affiliates.

2. Where are you from?

Born and raised in London with North African origins.

3. What gets you up in the morning?

My alarm! Just kidding, what gets me up in the morning is the satisfaction of knowing that there are challenges to overcome and steps forward that need to be driven to deliver revenue (I’m highly motivated) and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

4. What’s been keeping you busy lately?

Our mission has been to increase engagement with our affiliate base (global) and to do this we need to create simple yet effective promotions that affiliates will not think twice – but Join to support. This is core to our revenue strategies and therefore makes up a big chunk of my time on a day to day basis.

5. What’s your favourite aspect of what you do?

My favourite aspect of what I do is that every day is completely different from the last, the constant meeting of a diverse range of new people and knowing that what I do is not only laying foundations for the future but 100% contributing the success of the team – today and to the company’s revenue goals as well.  What I do also allows me to learn, gain valuable marketing experience and mature into the ideal marketing professional.

6. What do you do in your spare time?

My spare time is taken up by with either sports or adventuring, I play football twice a week as well as coach a disability football team. I also partake in a lot of swimming. I love to travel and explore. I already have trips to Morocco, Germany and Italy booked within the next 2 months!

7.Who is your biggest inspiration?

My biggest inspiration are the people around me – I work with some talented people, and I am learning a lot which is helping me to be the best at the position I’m in right now.

8.What brand or ad campaign did you wish you’d worked on and why?

Tough question, there have been so  many great brand and ad campaigns these last few years but for me it has to be the Cadburys Gorilla advert to the song of Phil Collins in the air tonight. It came out at a time where I was just starting my Marketing education and for me it epitomised the effect of a great advertising & branding.

9. What have you been getting up to with Openr, and what’s worked best for you?
