and we’ve been invited to present at the Global Festival of Media FOMG in Rome on May 10th!
We’re reliably informed that the only way to be named as one of the emerge hottest start-ups is to be nominated – so no entry forms, no pitching – just being ‘a bit of al-right’ in the eyes of a very special panel of people across the world who nominate and select the emerge winners – this panel includes leading global marketing directors, VCs, agencies and entrepreneurs. By being selected by the panel, and have joined what FOM call a ‘roll of honour’ of key technology organisations. We have been invited to attend the Global Festival of Media in Rome, and will present in front of hundreds of senior decision-makers in global media and marketing, so many more brands will get to hear about the magic of Openr.
We will join twenty-five other start-ups in this year’s emerge programme at the Festival, including established high-flyers like Sales Gossip and Appear Here. We will all be showcased at the Festival’s ‘emergeZone, where last year amazing businesses like mobile augmented reality platform Blippar could be found; and speakers at the event include Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP and Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter!
We very much look forward to meeting brands like Apple, Coca-Cola, Expedia, Honda, Ikea, Procter & Gamble, Red Bull and Johnson & Johnson who are all attending FOMG, and watch this space for photos and news from the event.
